It’s Halloween time again, and many kids – or kids at heart – look forward to dressing up in their new costumes, whether it’s their favorite superhero, a pop culture icon, or just their beloved animal. Alexan 5151 allows our luxury apartment residents to make the most of their October through out great location in Houston, which will host dozens of Halloween events for all ages and occasions.

For those looking for a little wild side to their celebrations, the Houston Zoo is hosting its annual Zoo Boo event from October 11th to the 27th. It’s perfect for young kids who can’t handle the harsher scares that Halloween can bring, or for those that love to stop by the zoo and see all the amazing animals that have made themselves at home. The entire zoo will be decked out with fun Fall-themed activities and treats, from the Whataburger Pumpkin Patch where you can pick up your own gourd and take it home, to the creative monster mural coloring stations where you make your own zany creature, to the Monster Masquerade every Saturday and Sunday at noon where you can parade through the zoo and show off your cutest or creepiest costumes. In addition, all the zoo exhibits will be open to explore, so you can see all of the beautiful flora and fauna like any other zoo visit. Best of all, the Zoo Boo event is included with general admission, and the Houston Zoo is only seven and a half miles away from our luxury apartments, a mere fifteen-minute drive away.
